Shane provides insurance and risk transfer solutions and support to businesses located in the Western States. Shane is a native Oregonian and has worked in the Insurance and Risk Management community in both Salem and Portland. Over the past fifteen years, Shane has developed a strong understanding of property and casualty risks and how best to work with insurance carriers to secure coverages for a large variety of exposures. Prior to joining Mountain West, he worked for a large national insurance firm and the experience gave him a deep appreciation and understanding of the methods commonly used to transfer and reduce risk. Shane also holds multiple Property and Casualty insurance licenses.
While Shane finds his work gratifying, enjoying time with his son is his greatest priority. Shane enjoys living in Salem and spending time with family and friends. Shane believes strongly in supporting local non-profit organizations. These include Boys and Girls Club, Family Building Blocks and the South Salem Saxon Baseball Foundation.
